Attorney Profile
Chris Patterson was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1985. After service as an officer in the United States Army Judge Advocate General's Corps, he established a private law practice emphasizing criminal defense and mediation. This law practice encompasses several thousand criminal cases at trial and the appellate level in state, federal, and military courts.
Mr. Patterson is a certified by the Florida Bar as a criminal trial specialist, and as a criminal trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is active in local, state, and national bar associations, including life membership in the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Mr. Patterson is a frequent lecturer to various agencies and community organizations. He is a regular contributor to the Florida Defender magazine, and is a published author of two novels. He is listed in Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in America. He is active in his community with membership in numerous service and religious organizations, including Rotary International.
